A single comprehensive consultation delivers complete clinical insight, a personalised therapy roadmap, and expert parent guidance โ with no waiting, no confusion.
Coming to a therapy centre for the first time can feel daunting. Our process is designed to eliminate uncertainty โ and to ensure that from your very first visit, you leave with answers, direction, and genuine hope.
Once you have a referral, reach out to Anavia directly โ by phone or WhatsApp. We'll ask a few brief questions to understand your situation, explain what to expect, and schedule your first appointment at a time that works for your family.
Your first visit is a thorough 60โ90 minute clinical assessment. Anamika evaluates your child across all relevant developmental areas โ sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, visual-motor coordination, postural stability, daily living skills, and social-emotional functioning โ while building a detailed developmental history from both parent and child perspectives.
Immediately following the evaluation, Anamika creates a detailed, bespoke therapy roadmap for your child โ specific goals aligned to your family's priorities, recommended techniques, frequency of sessions, and realistic, measurable timelines. You receive this before you leave the first visit.
A dedicated parent session gives you the insights, strategies, and home programme you need to support your child's progress every single day. You leave understanding what your child experiences, why they behave the way they do, and precisely what you can do to help โ empowered, not overwhelmed.
There is no waiting period after your first visit. Therapy starts right away, with sessions that are structured, evidence-based, and โ critically โ joyful. Children who enjoy their sessions progress faster, more consistently, and with greater confidence.
We continuously monitor your child's progress against the goals in their plan. Regular review sessions keep you fully informed. As milestones are reached, the plan evolves โ ensuring therapy always remains relevant, stretching, and effective for where your child is now.
To make the most of your first appointment, please bring the following. The more context we have, the more precise and useful your child's evaluation will be.
Referral letter from your paediatrician or specialist
Any previous therapy or developmental assessment reports
School reports or teacher observations (if applicable)
Relevant medical records or diagnoses
A written list of your key concerns and priorities as a parent
Your child's favourite toy or comfort item โ for settling in
Both parents or caregivers, where possible โ two perspectives are invaluable
